ANALYSIS -
The entire multiplicand must be multiplied a + b
times.

In the first line write the product of

In the second line write the product of
2a+3btimesb. -
Align similar terms in vertical columns.
For example
2abappears directly under3ab. - Add or subtract similar terms to calculate the final product.
RULE - Multiply all the terms of the multiplicand by each term of the multiplier, and add the partial products.
