Multiply and Divide

Learn to Play the Numbers Game Level Two

Select the Play button at any time to start or restart the game. Play resets your score for this level. The game's over when either the timer runs out or you've answered every question.

Post Your Score

When the game's over enter a user name and password. Select the Post Score button to see how your score compares to others online. Each level starts over if you return and tap the Play button. To accumulate the highest score complete a level, then start another level.

Game Play

Questions display below the cloudscape. For each correct answer your score increases by twenty points. Tap a digit in the cloud scene, a multiplication or division symbol, then another digit. Digits include numbers one through seven. Multiplication and division symbols also float in the cloud scene.

Multiply

Assume the following question displays below the cloud scene:

Form an expression which evaluates to 8.

To find the correct answer select 2, then tap the multiply x sign, then select 4 from the cloud scene. The expression 2 x 4 evaluates to 8 because 2 x 4 = 8. Your score increases by twenty points. However other expressions also evaluate to 8. For example 8 x 1 = 8.

Divide

Assume the following question displays below the space scene:

Form an expression which evaluates to 0.25.

To find the correct answer select 1, then select ÷, and last select 4 from the cloud scene. The expression 1 / 4 evaluates to 0.25 because 1 / 4 = 0.25. Your score increases by twenty points.
